    (This might be a very simple problem but I am in no way qualified as a computer expert) When I click on the NEWbrushform a window pops up and says that Windows cannot read this file.

    Every time the brushes appear it says my 30 day trial is up when I've bought the licence but when I get it to recognize the licence the brushes disappear DX Heellllpp!!

      Maybe you attempt to install the license on an old (ver. 1.0) or cracked SAI copy. Try to download the latest SAI version from its page on the Systemax site.
      If it doesn't help please note me, I'll think what else can be done.

    I can't seem to find the brushform.conf file, only the newbrushform.conf. Help!

      The [brushform.conf] file is located in the directory you have SAI installed. It is impossible not to have it there, unless you didn't delete it manually. In case you still don't have it, just download and install SAI again, it will appear.

    nevermind, ignore my comment from before, I figured it out. I was just looking in the wrong folder and got confused. But, why is it when I installed the brushes, it came out looking like without the textues? It came out like this: http://i289.photobucket.com/albums/ll224/meghan1741/imaggge.png

      The problem is in your brush settings. Changes you need:
      1) set the texture density to 100%. It is the field right next to the brush selection field, currently your setting is 50%.
      2) set the Edge Hardness and Min Density to 0.
      3) to get better texture result, decrease the Dilution amount approximately to 5-15%.

      It should work.

    Ahh....? Please don't think I'm an idiot or anything but it said in the directions to copy the brushform.conf from the zip file but all I see is "NEWbrushform.conf" Are those two the same? Do I just back up that instead? Also, what's a "SAI directory"? Im really sorry I'm REALLY new to these ^^;;;

    Do I have to delete brushform.conf & brushform.conf.bak in order for NEWbrushform.conf to begin working? All of the textures are loaded into sai but when I select them I get the default line.

      You need to rename the original [brushform.conf] in your SAI directory, giving it any name you wish - it will be your back-up for the case you would like to return to default brushes.
      Then rename [NEWbrushform.conf ] from this archive as [brushform.conf] and move (copy) it into the SAI directory. Then run SAI, and it will read the new file. That should work.

    is there any method of taking one set of brushes from Photoshop and convert it into Painter 11 ?

    I dont manage to get them into SAI. I have WinRar, and I've done as it says in the How To note, except that I cant fint NEWbrushform.conf only brushform.conf in the pack. And in the SAI directory there are only brushtex and papertex (and blotmap and elemap). What am I doing wrong?

      Thank you for the note, I renamed the file correctly. Sorry for confusing you.
      Please try to perform all steps from the How To again. If brushes will not appear after you move them to their corresponding folders and write them down in the [brushform.conf], the reason may be:
      - you have SAI runnung. Just restart it.
      - your SAI is a cracked copy. In this case custom brushes will not work.
      - you left an excessive symbol in the [brushform.conf] when copying brush names, check it.
