For our studio in the beautiful city of Hamburg we are looking to fill the following full-time, permanent position asap:
Game UI Artist
(Please note: The exact job title, i.e. Junior/”Regular”/Senior may vary depending on experience)
- Creation of UI / HUD (menus, ingame interfaces) in Flash & Scaleform in cooperation with our game designers and programmers
- Creation of all incidental 2D assets
- Monitoring of the whole process of UI creation and implementation of changes that may occur
- Optimization of the UI for all supported platforms and resolutions
What we are looking for:
- Degree in communications design from a University or University of Applied Sciences (or similar education)
- Participation in at least 2 shipped and commercially successful titles
- Very good knowledge of Photoshop, Flash and Scaleform
- Passion for games and keen interest in the computer/video gaming industry
- Constant observation of the latest trends and developments in graphics and UI
- Experience in the interpretation and realization of GDDs and structure charts
- Ability to work independently and strong self-motivation
- Lots of creativity and readiness of mind as well as ability to respond positively to criticism
- Excellent team player
- Flexibility (i.e. willingness to take over other graphics-related tasks as well)
- Knowledge of and experience in Adobe Illustrator
- Interest and understanding of the mobile market and its most popular platforms and devices
