For our studio in the beautiful city of Hamburg we are looking to fill the following full-time, permanent position asap:
Multiplayer Developer
(Please note: The exact job title, i.e. Junior/”Regular”/Senior may vary depending on experience)
Key task:
Team-based development of performant and robust network solutions on mobile platforms (particularly iOS and/or Android) in order to reach optimal results for our upcoming multiplayer titles.
What we are looking for:
Must-haves:
- At least 2 years experience in the computer/video games industry in a similar position
- Profound knowledge of C++
- Experience in network programming (e.g. distributed objects, event-based communication, RPC)
- Excellent knowledge of English in speech and writing
- Ability to work independently and strong self-motivation
- Lots of creativity
- Excellent team player
Nice-to-haves:
- Knowledge of Raknet, Photon or Protobuf
- Previous work on at least one commercially successful multiplayer title
- Knowledge of network protocols (e.g. http)
- Bachelor or Masters degree with focus on distributed and parallel systems
- German language skills
