2D --> 3D rendering

We are a publisher of children's games and toys and we are looking for a skilled artist who can generate 3D models from 2D sources.
You will be taking a bunch of 2D concept sketches of cartoon characters and creating 3D models of them. The characters are relatively simple and you will be modeling their faces only (not the entire figure). You will mostly be working from art supplied to you but there may be opportunities to develop your own characters from scratch if we like your style.
This is a new startup company, not an established player, but this is a big project and will continue for some time (there are 50 characters total and each has 6 distinct "faces" so there will ultimately be 300 models).
Pay is commensurate with experience and skill but depending upon how fast you can translate the sketches into models you can make a lot of money in a short period of time.
This job is ready to begin, now.
