Trion Worlds is seeking a full-time, onsite German Translator to join our localization team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Implement English-to-German translation, ensuring AAA-quality and consistency
Translate in-game text, voice scripts, manuals, supplementary development, and promotional and testing-related documents
Identify game content that may require revision to better suit the tastes of consumers

REQUIREMENTS

Native speaker of German, familiar with current German culture and customs
Excellent German-to-English translation skills, including two to four years' specific translation experience
German and English interpretation skills, including experience interpreting creative writing
Ability to produce high-quality results on a tight deadline
Excellent organizational skills
Knowledge of game localization
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Bachelor degree (or equivalent) in German, English, Linguistics, or closely related field
