Senior 3D Character Artist
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Creating low and high resolution 3D character models
- Creating low and high resolution cloths and character related props (iOS, Next Gen)
- Ability to UV both organic and hard surface models
- Collaborating with the Art Director in the creation of consistent, high-quality work
Skills
- Advanced working and technical knowledge of 3DS max/Maya, Z-Brush 2/3 and Mudbox is a must
- Ability to digitally sculpt/model & texture both High & Low polygon characters to a high level of quality
- Advanced knowledge of 2D photo manipulation and painting software (i.e. Photoshop)
- Strong knowledge & understanding of human anatomy, with an eye for accurate proportions, form, and details
- Ability to translate orthographic and concept drawings into fully realized 3D models
Profile
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position or at least 1 AAA title credited
- Video game enthusiast
- Knowledgeable in contemporary media (web, games, comics, film, animation, etc.)
- Open-minded and outward-looking
- Auto-Critique;
- Organized and efficient;
- Good critical sense
- Ability to work unsupervised;
- Able to work under pressure.
