3D Artist - Environment

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Creating high quality 3D assets for next-gen platforms.

Be willing to learn (and teach) new tools and techniques.

Take art direction and closely follow art and design concepts.

Be meticulous and organized in the approach to tasks, adhering to pipeline workflow.

Take ownership for tasks assigned, be accountable for work, and follow through.

Skills

3D modeling & UV layout skills (MAX, or Maya) and experience with Photoshop

Mastery of next-gen texture creation tools (ex. Diffuse, Normal, Spec, AO, etc.) zbrush, crazybump, xnormal, ddo/ndo

Excellent knowledge of lighting and baking techniques

Excellent knowledge of design basics (relief, lighting, composition, perspective, colours, etc.);

Experience in video games (minimum of one AAA production)

Must be interested in creating games for iPad (last generation)

Profile

Video game enthusiast

Knowledgeable in contemporary media (web, games, comics, film, animation, etc.)

Open-minded and outward-looking

Auto-Critique, Organized and efficient;

Ability to work unsupervised;

Able to work under pressure.
