Childhood, Christmas time, friends, family, joy, happiness ... and, a new toy on my desk. Toy that will define my life, responsible for such a beautiful experiences from my childhood. Kids imaginary world, lost over time, a glimpse of it left in my head, a glimpse of priceless memory. But, it wouldn't be such a great experience if it wasn't for my friends... do you guys remember how we spent hours playing games, competing and exploring these new digital frontiers?

I must admit I had Atari ST not Amiga ;), but my friend had Amiga and it had way better graphics and sound than my ST. So that's the reason why I decided to model Amiga for this illustration, out of respect. :)

I know this is not Your "newest" work but I HAVE TO comment here:D
(am new here^^''') As the others said: What memories and what a work here!
And what details:D I took my time to notice the Cannon Fodder guy climbing on the monitor cracking its surface, oh my, GREAT! Obviously a Gold Award winner, Sir, you deserved it for sure.
And I have my new wallpaper too, thanks to You!
(I do not change it often but You've brought me the time for it;)

    ...AND DELUXE PAINT !!!
Why ? Why did you have to do that ?
Now I'm crying as I launch WINUAE and CADAVER.
I could copy/paste your feelings just here.
My mother still thinks I cheatted her when I said I needed a A500 for school, when all I did with it was play till way too late.
Well, years later I work in the film and videogame industries because of that !
    Great image and text.
My AMIGA 1200 is still somewhere in my basement, by the way.

You know I feel the same way every time I see that image, why did I do that... so that memories that I had never fade away, it's safer to keep it in a form of illustration than my mind. Glad you like it, I hope I will have time to do one dedicated to C64, that's my other favorite computer.
