1 of 6 cards I completed last year for the Warhammer: Invasion  Living Card Game.
Tight deadline on these babies, so I didnt get to do everything I wanted to with them.
That, combined with the work being from early last year had me hesitant to post these latest 3 additions since ive learned - and changed - a lot of things in my approach and execution.

But I figured why the hell not, it was the best I could do at the time and under the time constraints.
Enjoy!

Brad, awesome work as usual. Though I'm sort of wondering if looking at some reference would come in handy here, especially for all the tiny muscles that would be tensed up for the orc's arm and the other one's neck.

      Thanks, Domo!
But I actually don't think this is awesome - partly because of what you mentioned and some other elements in the background and a few wild swings in value.
As I mentioned in the write up this was a rush-job, so its pretty easy to beat up on it.
It's good to look back on your older, crappy work though; you realize how much you've learned and you get excited for what tomorrow may bring.

      Best wishes,
      B

Great combination of dynamic lay out, considered colours and that beautiful smooth style. Instant favourite =D

Nice picture. You have a strange way to work out the volumes of the figures, but it works rather well. It seems that the calls for art for FFG are always quite tight, all the times I´ve worked for them it has been such a rush job.

It's always a rush job with them, but really only on the GW IP's, mainly because its a dual approval process.
      Glad you dig it!
