I made a posed version of my Trixie character and sent it to Shapeways.com to be printed out in 3D.

Extremely pleased with the results - they did an amazing job on it! I may paint it eventually.

She's 6.7 inches tall.

    How much did it cost to print that? I've seen 3D prints before, but I've never heard of the cost. It looks great by the way!

      This was a prototype i had printed myself from shapeways.com.
      It cost about 270 pounds at the time, but the price is probably lower and quality higher these days. See my facebook 'like' page galleries for more info

      Really glad you like it! Love your work - your 'paintedgirls' book was a big inspiration for my 'Debbie' image. I love the chunky hips and round faces you do.

    wow, great forms! The quality of that plastic is almost like marble.  Love it!
