great, you definitely see the BIG picture. I 'm especially intrigured by your shape construction in the more organic areas and how they play against the architecture. all held together by smart groupings of value and color temperatures.
Great painting and amazing location, with lots of story to tell. I would love to sail one of those ships out/into this port and around this precariously overhanging rock in the background. Love the sky too.
