this is a work in progress..... full figure will be posed on a log with symmetry off from the face and will be smoking from a peace pipe.

    Thanks very much Horus and well done for breathing life back into 3d challenges well excited about that...!!

    well if I remember rightly I created the feathers by following this alpha tutorial on Zbrush central  and then I did a bit of sculpting all of this on one feather watching this tut here..... till I was happy it looked ok... Cant remeber exactly but it took some fiddling once the alpha had got the general base shape created....)

    next stage was to subtool the general form I wanted and repeat the feathers all around the headband and after I had done that I then merged all the tools and duplicated a one tool copy this was then moved with the move tool to get that great double layer effect....

    I am curious about how you created the feathers for this.  Great work!  Definitely should be front page, top row .
