thanks guys. Regarding the sculpt I did initially want to sculpt the dead Christ from Giuseppe Sanmartino located in the San Severo chapel in Naples - Italy. Its a gorgeous and awesome marble sculpture of a veiled dead Christ. Its surreal to think about its done in marble as you can feel the veil is transparent and clearly see the anatomy of the Christ underneath. Check it out on google. At the end I decided to do my own version...firstly because without reconstructing topology I wouldnt have been able to sculpt the veil....and even the Christ has been a challenge since the sculpt was made out of a simple cube. I might get back to it though later...

      Thanks for the info, appreciated

I looked up the sculpture you mentioned and boy is it amazing, creating it in marble is just wild to think any mistake they made is permanent !

Its beautiful how Giuseppe managed to make the marble feel like a thin veil over Christ, so impressive

Your version is great too, sculpting the veil would be the final piece :)
