Personal Study (2006) I started this picture with the idea of doing a tall but non-natural structure, a kind of large arena which could give impression of greatness.

    That's right, the Arena idea somehow evolved, so we don't feel it anymore. Even, it doesn't go out of my mind :).

    Oh wow, you know how to work light. It does not feel like an arena to me, though. More like a quiet market in the morning, or like some alley between tall fantasy buildings in medieval type of setting.
    It really carries a mood with it though, which is very appealing.
