A friendly, online challenge themed 'Bad Luck Explorer' inspired me to make this daft image.  How lucky would a rabbit be who had lost one of his lucky rabbit's feet?

    just one of my favorite painting of yours. everything works so well in this one. love the character, the stroy behind it, the composition is great as well. and the rocks formation and texture is killer.

      Thaks Pat - much appreciated.

      That texture is just the result of overlaid photo-texures at varying opacity - flattened and then worked back into on some light and shadow layers to unify the form.  At the time I did this, SKB didn't support texture brushes.  It's something they have put right in the latest version named '2010', and they're geat.
