Fantastic piece :)
This piece tells a story and it's well executed. The light foliage on top of the "golem" lets you know it's been there awhile and hasn't moved. There is a great splash of color with the flowers above the golem that help draw our eyes to it. These colors are the same referenced in other parts of the picture without coming off as unnatural and this helps balance the piece. The childs haircut is unique and interesting and the golem looks inspired but again such an interesting design. The sharp spike like lines of the head and shoulder are offset by a chubby roundness of the face, chest and feet. Without those chubby aspects the golem could have come across as mean or intimidating due to those sharp angles. Instead the golem is interesting, cute and peaceful and those sharp angles gives it character and unqiueness not intimidation.
