Awesome work, most inspiring.
How do you do that 3d looking effect?
Glyphex- In photshop, duplicate the layer you wish to get the effect from (I usually duplicate the entire image, flattened). The image must be in RGB mode. Double-click on the layer you just made. In the dialogue-box you will see "Blending Options" and in the middle it will say "advanced blending". Just under that you will have three boxes, all marked as "channels" but with an individual letter "R", "B" and "G". Remove the R or the B. Now use the "Move Tool" (shortcut keyboard key is "V") and nudge the layer a little up, down, left or right. You will see a red and/or green line happening around things. If you want to isolate the 3d effect, use layermask and erase that which you don not wish to have a 3d effect around. Hope that helped.
Linran used no 3D effect. He is just pumping up the saturation of the edges between darker and lighter areas with a bit of red. I think he does it for every image, this one is just not as complete as the others, so it's seen more easily.
Beautiful edges !
good work with edges
Linran's back!
