Artist's Comments

Just so you guys see that I can do a pure painting as well, haha. I did this just recently. I used a private reference for the figure, and kind of added the vines and blossoms as I went along, as to me they added a nice story element. Hope you guys enjoy it, any comments and critiques are welcome, of course. Daniel

Oops, did not mean to sound sarcastic on that last sentence, just making a cynical joke. Please don't take it personally. Should have added a smiley. ;)

Pretty. The toes on the foreground foot look very odd to me, though. Like they are short stumps rather than toes? Well, I can't claim I could do it any better, but the toes bother me a lot in this image. I suppose I am supposed to look at the boobies and not even realize she has toes.

I think you should do more of those! it is very nice indeed. Given that the foot is the closest to the camera, you want to be particularly attentive to details there, I think it could use a little more painting love (almost there). Overall, it's my favorite.

My mind has been blown to bits, Daniel... wow...
Seriously, the way that tissue flows feels too real...

the work is awesome, the lighting, the textures, the details...
but what really caught my eyes was the mood of it, disturbing, sensual, lonely...
