Lovecraft is a deep abyss to mine and I encourage any artist to visit his dark pantheon at least once. I'm sketching out some Mountains of Madness ideas as I write this.

      Thanks! It's hard to go wrong with Lovecraft and the sleeping god. It inspires it by majesty alone.

        I agree about Lovecraft :), but let me explain better, why i Love this drawing...there is 95% of people who will see sharks as a monsters and only 5% who will see them as a most beautiful, graceful, fascinating, ancient and mysterious of all Earth's creatures.
        In this drawing I see calm, powerful creature in all hes beauty (love eye, and coloring) and I don't feel any fear from him...so congratulation for that :)
