This leaves me in awe, its so awesome.

Can you help me out a bit? How much time did you spend on this, your process (silhouettes, thumbnails, color sketches, etc.)? What brushes did you use, your brush settings (opacity set to pen pressure, etc.)

I am trying to get better at photoshop painting, you seem to have it down to a science. And this piece is so well balanced, i love how his halo/ headpiece above his head points to the right, and the lights in the background balance it out by pointing to the left.

      Hi Planteary,

We think time is not really important... you must respect deadlines (if they exist). This one was done in around 13-15 hours (all the process... several sketches just for for the design, the thinking, colour sketches, the final pose, and the final art). We use the photoshop brushes (no customs ones) and with opacity set to pen pressure.

We appreciate a lot your comment mate! Thanks!

Cheers and good luck! :: )
