Work done for sample & hold: http://www.sampleandhold.co.uk/

I was contracted to process a raw scan and produce a complete data set including renders (excluding hair). I performed extensive cleaning, reconstruction and detailing of the scan mesh. Textures were around 80% hand painted to achieve an accurate recreation of the skin's diffuse reflectance, with the remaining 20% projected to match specific landmarks of the face. Render in Vray. Time to completion: one week.

I'm floored by the quality of the skin and it's stunning realism. But I'm equally stunned that- even with all that brilliance- the eyes still don't quite work that well. It might be that you went a little too tame on the coloring of the skin around the eyes. It seems a bit "flat", like being too equal in brightness and color to all the rest. Often the eyelids show darker blood saturation and the inner section's thinner skin shows through more of the vein's blue tinting and also darker shade therefore. But it is utterly stunning, no less. Tip of the hat to you and congratulations!

Texturing and lightning are great! Bump is perhaps a little bit too crispy for my liking but it looks very realistic anyway.
    Great job!

Are you allowed to say what is it used for?

    Greetings!
