    Artist's Comments

    For a promotional poster that my agent put together, I was asked to paint a factoid, and my factoid was "Johnny Depp is afraid of Clowns." So from there I created this little scene. My friend Anthony J. Kosar is an amazing sculpter and illustrator and he created this awesome clown mask and in honor of his work and our friendship I used his clown mask as reference. I changed some things about it but left it fairly close to his design. His clown was perfect for this piece.
