Artist's Comments
This is another free time self promotion project. This one cleverly
satisfies both my shortage of fantasy and sci-fi in my portfolio! I
chose to depict a powerful conjuror making contact, so to speak. One is
left to wonder whether he brought about the spacecraft, or whether the
extraterrestrials noticed the unusual magical power and chose to visit a
backward planet of savages as they traversed the galaxy. The real
question, however, is what follows this encounter? I suspect it will not
go well for the villagers, and they will wish they had run the sorcerer
out of town long ago...
