    memod: Yeaaaaaah, I really need to work on my lighting. I generally go the easy projected lighting route - but it's not nearly as powerful as direct lighting. I had a shadow on the dude, but I didn't like what it did to the flow so I erased it ... also I got lazy. :)

    I like how surreal this landscape works, and how you gave it scale with this one figure. It totally invites the viewer to go in and explore this area.
    What confuses me a little is the light, though. Most objects have some light from the front, the background seems rather subtle and foggy, yet the rocks have such strong shadows....and the character has none :D
    In any case it looks really good, though. =)
