The watercolor filter
Lately I have been seeing a lot of use of the watercolor filter. It really bothers me for some reason even though I admit it has a certain interesting style. I think the reason it bothers me is because I know it's not the style of the actual artist but rather it's just that the image has been run through a fancy algorithm. It seems to be use often in conjunction with photos so that the painted part of the image and the photo kind of get married into one style by the filter.
Anyway, bored. Figured I'd try to create another discussion in here.
