i want to participate in this, haven't done a challenge before, but a little confused towards if the challenge is asking for a sort of character design or an illustration? or if either is acceptable?

Whichever one you feel like doing

Drawing Jams is an open challenge where unless otherwise stated you are given a topic and told to run with it. Many people treat it as practice for getting a client that only have a very vague idea of what they want and want you to be 'artsy' As well as for practice and sometimes a portfolio piece. Plus the possible kudos that winning the poll gets you

Awesome topic. Some cool entries so far. I have different ideas about death, wanted to make "it" ancient looking, not human. I like the idea of tying death and birth together on a single entity.

I wasn't convinced about my last job. I wondered: when have you seen that a hearse works at night?. So, I started to make my job again during the day. I chose a cloudy day. It's a first approach without colour. I hope you enjoy this atmosphere.
