thanks guys for the comments, you all said something about my anatomy. could you guys be more specific as to what you think i need work on? i can tell they look short, i have the habit of wanting to work on one specific part instead of mapping everything out and it messes up proportions -_-
anyways here are some sketches, some of em are old since im still sick and dont have it in me to do more :/

This latest batch looks good, I think from what i see in the earlier sketches a couple minor things anatomy wise.

      1) Proportions, heads, hands, feet seem a little large, for example in the first one the arms are folded across her chest. However the upper arm away from the camera would have to be a lot longer to fold across like that based on how the figure is twisted. by that I mean it looks much longer than the other arm because of that.

      2) waist, some of the sketches appear to have the torso connect directly to the thighs ( maybe this is what you meant by 'short'?). They also don't appear to have groin areas because of this.

It sounds like from your comments you maybe already were on top of these, just keep at it!

I should add, if you were going for a more stylized pic, that might account for the twist and the appearance of one arm being a bit longer, either way i actually like the image though

Great updates, sorry to hear ure sick tho! I hope u get well soon
About the anatomy, I think it's just that, they're too short. I always try to do 7-8 heads in height when it comes to more realistic drawings. Try sketching out simple basic construction lines, I never start without them. A circle for the head and a curved line for the rest of the body, that usually helps me kinda know how my proportions are doing.

          hey man cool studies...
          keep those up...
on those figures near the top page their heads seem to be a bit larger than what they supposed to be. just my 2 cents

thanks for the comments guys and to everyone who wrote about the anatomy in those figures i agree, i really wanted to draw but was sick and it became a real hassle to even get that out :b so learned my lesson and wont be drawing ill anymore -_-

nothing much just some old oil paint studies i did from last year, each were around 5 hours. if the hand looks short and roundish its cuz its my lil sisters hand :b i havent gotten to paint recently since ive been spending all my time on digital :/ hopefully i get back to it soon

also like that they used my thumbnail on the please vote thing for the drawing jam :b

ohh your oil painting is really good! you should show us more of those
What I meant about the figure anatomy is just the proportions. Usually artists work on 8 heads tall, so that means that the upper body is four heads long and the rest(from the crotch down) is 4 heads as well. There are differences of course.
The girls you posted had about 3 heads long in their upper bodies, which is why they look short.
You may find these helpful, they're the proportions by Andrew Loomis..
I'll just put a link to them since I don;t want to spam your sketchbook with pictures lol
              male proportions
              female proportions

Damn, those oils look pretty darn sweet, I should definitely take a dive into traditional painting!
Loved the first body studies btw, great brush strokes!!!
