I have this G-pen 450 from Genius( i know its lil' bit old, and I can't effort to buying that wacom thing, although its still on my wish list ) and i found myself, it hard to controlling the cursor movement manipulation on photoshop and its so annoying (for that reason also I more prefer draw my drawing are using painter, since they have a brush tracking thing on they preference) , i saw some of you guys WIP drawing the one that using photoshop and I'm so amaze for what you guys done.
I wish I can draw like you guys done with this pen and my lack of skill...

      hey man,

I know there is a photoshop option for the wacom tablet. But I did change my preferences with my wacom drivers...

As i do not know the pen you currently have, it hard to help you. But does it not have like a driver, or even it's own program ? ( if you change tose options, it will affect photoshop too.)
You should watch for the wacom tablet, the liddle ones have a very low price, and it keeps comming down...
And even if it is not a wacom, it is still better than a mouse for drawing with the pc. ( althroug the quality off the wacom ones are better).

And do you have a mac, or a pc?
