Hello,

Just giving this thread a minor update with a quick and rough sketch. Took about an hour. It's the first time I paint a city and also the first time that it's something SCI-FI related. Even though this is a rough sketch it felt nice to leave my comfort zone. You've probably seen what I prefer to do.

Just giving this thread a quick update with a matte I've worked on and off.. on.
I experimented a little bit with the perspective and I wanted to go for a more CG-ish feel. It didn't turn out the way I wanted but I felt that I could work on this piece for ever so I just had to call it.

Hello,

This is an early work in progress of my first acrylic painting. I really love this medium. Just figured I'd post it since it's my first time using this medium.

I'm going to add more mountains etc to improve the depth. I haven't really worked on the depth so far, just done some basic blocking. And don't mind the orange, it's from a quick test I did where I just wanted to blend intense colors.

No refs and sorry for bad image quality. The picture is taken with my phone.
