    Default remote weapon station

    Hello.

I am totally new to this forum and I wanted to share my work in progress with everyone!!!
Some screen grabs of the M2 Protector. Most parts are complete but there are just a few parts left to be modeled and its off for texturing.

For this model I used Autodesk Maya and Autodesk Inventor fusion.

      Some test renders.

I am going for a 3d print type of look.

Some feedback would be greatly appreciated

      Awesome model and details!
Needs ambient occlusion to be even more awesome (or at least more noticeable AO if it already has).

Cvetnosplav: thanks. Im a total amateur at rendering. I dont even know how I would turn on AO.

Dang you guys are a tuff crowd.

Still got some work to do on the Bushmaster.
I wanted to a wip as well as some real life pictures of the Bushmaster and the Protector so you guys could give some accurate critique. Thank you

            Hello.

I finally was able to get my hands on the Tech Manual set that shows all the parts for this gun. Now I can finish it with confidence knowing that I have enough reference to model it as accurately as possible. hope you guys like.

I made some more progress on the cannon.
The bottom gear cover is basically complete.

Very modeling work there! I've noticed that some of your hard edges are not chamfered, and this would lead to an un-natural falloff of light.

Other than that, a great job so far =)

Hello. Thank you for the compliment And thank you for the tip

                    some more renders.
The turret base is done now. There is only a few simple parts to model now. All the hard work is done.

and another render using Mike Nash shader setup
