Default I'm new to modeling in Maya, but not in 3d. Any tips?

Hi everyone. This is my first post.

I've been using Blender 3d for 2 years now. I have come to the point where I can basically make anything I want in it. I love the program and how easy it is to model and skin, but have also seen the lures of Maya, mostly because it is the industry standard.
So I tried Maya, and... I suck at it. Making the change from one 3d software to the other is hard...

So I'm just asking: How have any of you ever made the switch from one package to the next? Is there any good free tutorial sites out there to get me started like they were in Blender?

    Thanks everyone,
    Ben
