Ha thanks everyone! I always appreciate your praise.

Anyways, cross-posting this from the Anatomicae #26: Human Chimera thread.

Here are the muscle and skeleton reference roughly done for my Chimera, I just wanted to detail and clean it up a lot more but I probably won't have the time to do so before the due date tomorrow.

Let me know what you all think, all critiques are welcome.

Beautiful, the way the feet are shinking really makes me think of a hybrid that has allready begun to undergo some evolution, loosing little by little the limbs that are no longer necessary. Your work has increasingly impressed me, I'm really honored to have you coming back to the Anatomicae challenges!
Great work, keep it up!

(Btw I gave some extra time on the challenge Hope that makes it easier on you for getting your entry done! Cheers!)

    Hey everyone!

@ guilhermegarcia - Sorry I didn't see your previous post until now. I don't often keep track of how long it takes me because I jump around between projects a lot, but if I had to guess I would say maybe 10-20 hours depending on detail, references, and so on. The human hybrid for example I would say I have spent 25 hours on because I am kind of making it up as I go, but the bald eagle would be like 10 hours since I was looking at a photo.

@ Amaakir - Thank you very much as always Amaakir, for the compliments and the time extension. It was a hectic weekend and I had little to no time to work on anything art related. I am glad you pushed back the deadline for everyone. Also, I should thank you for running and putting together the challenges. They have been a great way for me to push myself into areas that I have been uncomfortable with.

    @ Vaejoun - Thanks!

@ Malo - Great to hear, I always worry about my color choices since I don't often use color.

Anyways, onto more art! Today I have 3 things to share. First is the final for Anatomicae #26 - Human Chimera. Second was a commission that I cancelled because of poor clientele, and third is a Mother's Day gift I painted, printed, framed, and gave to my mom for that day.

I'll soon have a finished skeleton and muscle chart to complement this guy and finish the challenge (thanks again Amaakir for the deadline extension. )

This was a commission that was finished, but was cancelled because of the client. It's pretty self explanatory, just a horse being dragged by its snake legs. I won't claim the idea, but I claim that I made it pretty awesome.

Finally, the best for last, a Mother's Day gift I did for my mom of her favorite cat named Zoey. She's a strange, yet freakishly adorable little thing that likes to stick her tongue out from time to time. A change of pace from my usual stuff which I enjoyed.

Anyways, thanks for looking and I hope you all enjoy!

Hey everyone! Thank you all for the compliments as always. I know it's been a week since I last posted, but I have some art to hopefully make up for it.

Today I have a few sketchy things to share. The first is an ID I made for myself for Deviant Art, or you can call it a self portrait, consisting of me doodling everything out stuff in Photoshop, well, everything except the hand. I tried painting the hand, but I ended up using a photograph of my own hand instead because it looked much better that way.

I also have a Naga-type creature that spawned from random doodle shapes in Alchemy. I finally took it into Photoshop and really ended up liking the results.
