@ Zentrope - Thanks Zentrope! I am starting to use 3D a lot more now, it is turning out to be a fantastic tool for pretty much everything I do now.

@ bluenyte - Hey bluenyte, appreciate the compliment! I actually steal from other artist's brushes because apparently I suck at making my own brushes.

The one I am currently using is Algenpfleger's brush set. They are fantastic and I would highly recommend them. I hope that helps

Anyways, I have been pretty busy this week with lots of work, but here is what I was able to pull together from this weeks sketchbook. More are just random experiments with media, but if you look closely there is a hint of my next Pokemon I am planning to do. It's Garchomp.

So today I am starting on my next Pokemon painting, and it's Garchomp!

I started off with a Z brush/ Sculptris model hoping to use the same techniques I used for my Golem painting, but this time I attempted the whole body instead just the head. I ran into a lot of difficulty doing that and decided just to use it as a quick reference instead of part of the painting. More practice is defiantly needed.

Hellz yeah Lindsey! I think it's great you're pushing yourself in 3D as well! Your understanding of form is growing in your 2D works, probably because 3D makes you think outside of the box like that. I can't wait to see more progress!

@ Zentrope - Ha ha, more like preparing to get my butt whopped by you in 3D sculpting. I am still no where near as good as you.

@ stace - Thanks stace! You are right on with that statement, it helps with my 2D painting and in the process I learn some Z Brush. Like hitting two birds with one stone.

Awesome work, your use of value is outstanding (especially on the recent post where you say you were using techniques you learned from Dave Rapoza - who also rocks!) and I love how you use your brushstrokes. Beautiful work, thanks for sharing and don't stop sharing the awesomeness!!

Edit - I didn't realise there were 4 more pages!! lol Great work on the realistic Golem and nice 3D models also.
