      Time for a new post!
First of all - a link to my new (first) blog , check it out!
that is the previously mentioned blog

Here's some of the sketchbook stuff from the days since my last post , unfortunately that's all of the digitals except for an illustration , I just now started painting.
P.S. a tip - chinese kung fu movies --> reaaally cool for drawing poses , those guys are just crazy!

      enough chit-chat here's some jibber-jabber

      a photo study

and a bit of photoshop fun with it

      a study gone rogue

a horsey sketch - > that's MY little pony haha

One night I was feeling super angry, nevermind the reasons , and I guess this is what calmed me down.Started at 2:30am , finished at 4:20 am.

      aand a couple of environments
      the really crappy one

here I tried to study rocks.A fairly quick one probably about 1 hr 15 mins.

      'till next time! Cheers!

      C&C still encouraged

Your faces and bodies are getting much better. They still need some work (the eyes on your faces look strange to me), but you're making good progress

Also, when you do your photo studies, are you mixing your own colors or are you using the picker tool?

          ~GarettPost -> Duuuh , ofcourse I use the picker tool..who's dumb enough not to LOL ( dude , I'm kidding , I never use it except for analyzing a picture,never when I'm painting...wouldn't learn much if I did , right? )

My god! Today was a horrible day! A friend of mine got accused of doing a crime she could not have possibly made ( she was accused of being a terrorist O.O ) and she's got a hearing tomorrow.damn.Got one of my favourite cups stolen from me today and on top of all that today was like the crappiest art day ever.I was like a corpse , still am...sooo tired ... and I don't know why.Just gonna drop the crappiness in here and gonna fall face down on the bed...

I don't know why I'm posting this to have a bigger post I guess --> tried to do a photo study and failed miserably

          an environment speedy

blaaah gotta do better tomorrow ! C ya guysss!! zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Sooo some face studies - movies , pictures and some Kevin chen studies

in this one the scanner did this weird thing where it shifted the pic on one side , I was extremely lazy to scan it again so yeah...

body studies , mostly Kevin Chen stuff , his construction sketches are so understandable , I think it's because of his show of basic shapes.Well my sketches clearly suck , but they will get better!

            some new environments

an environment painting I'm starting , here's some lines and basic colors put on

aaand a really bad and quick personal piece O.O

bleh , just saw Miles's new cast drawing...too amazing , my head is bursting with knowledge hunger O-O c ya

              An incredibly bad sketchbook page

after doing the really crappy page I decided to fill up as nicely as I could the next one , so I actually am trying to up my game by filling nicely two pages.Still not done , we'll see how it goes

Continued work on the environment...why did I chose rock??? Hopefully tomorrow I'll get better results

At one point I had to stop looking at the environment thing so I distracted myself with a little portrait thingy , basicly getting the tense out of me

aaand this one was done while listening to the Royal Fellas , man these guys are hilarious!Great job guys!Anywho , I was going for the earth elemental , but I got reaaally carried away and decided to go through with it.Well , this came out

              bye guys ( and girls)

good progress man. keep it up. Your proportions are slowly but surely getting better. Just keep that close eye on how big facial features are in relation to each other and how they line up. Its something i have to work on myself. :P Keep at it!

-C0nker3 --> Thanks , man! Trying to!I gotta work harder so I wouldn't have to think about the proportions too much when I'm drawing... O.O

I've been feeling sooo lazy the last couple of days...GAWD! I hate being like that.Sitting and feeling bad that I suck without doing anything about it...that is going to change though!Enough excuses!
Only sketchbook pages for this post , sorry !

Today was total crap...In school everybody's shouting all the time and it's sooo annoying.I guess it's just more of a "likes the sound of silence" kinda guy.So in school I barely managed to do a sketchbook page and some figure studies from imagination. When I got home I was still feeling so lazy from yesterday , but I made myself study and after the third or fourth figure it got so fun!I think you just have to get past that moment of laziness by sheer will and then start drillin'!I did like 50-60 30s figure poses , but I'm not going to show you those , because they're boring ,instead, I'll post some longer figure poses with no life in them!! Good deal , huh?
Anyways , I gotta get better with the anatomy stuff!I think I start to understand it a little bit better , but I've got such a long way to go I don't feel happy with my accomplishments at all

                    crappy figures , as promised

                    can't forget those hands!

                    the page from imagination haha

and some random shit so that the post wouldn't be just B/W

So today at school I forgot my pencil drawing stuff , so I just had a ballpoint pen.Never did stuff with that and it was really fun!Too bad I had only paper with lines though...
this is the only thing worth posting so

Some hands to worm up when I came home

And my first creature design! I should definetely do more of these!!

Ok , so here's for the past couple of days.Too bad , no sketchbook pages from imagination , though :\ I really must do those , I think it's important.

Some hands - some from reference some from imagination

Quick 30 sec figures - sorry for the qualiti , apparently the paper is a bit transparent so you can see the bottom part of the scanner and the levels are craazy

figure studies, lots of them - I learned soo much from those crazy angles , I really recommend doing studies from parkour photos!

Two quick 45 mins environments from ref

A really loose and bad selfportrait , my hair actually does look like that! haha I had long hair for long time and since I cut it off , my hair's been growing super weird

did another creature - turned out even worse than the previous one! hahaI love doing them though , I can really let myself go , since I'm making them up!

Probably will post again tonight , so c ya!

and some pencil shits : sketches , dragon studies , shoulder and hand anatomy practice
