More progress...getting near completion. Just need to work the sky, splashing water and detail the mermaid more.

Hey, Im interested in involving in these Jams and activities, but I got a dumb question... Do I have to post my wips and process in here? or I can go straight and post my character on the final thread without any previous stages?
Got some ideas for this pinup mermaid
Hope someone can help this newcomer :P

It's encouraged that you post your wips and process in this thread. The challenges serve a dual purpose of not only being a fun way to create portfolio filler, but also as a way of helping artists learn and grow, and refine their skills.

That's a good start Ramso - You might want to look at images of marine life and also some Victoria Secret models or any pin-up models online. Whales and dolphins are good for getting the tail fin shape, and other fishes will help with the scales and fins. Looking at and studying photos of people, in this swimsuit models, will help you immensely.
