Hey mate, definately do more drawings like the ones you just posted.

From what I'm able to deserve it seems you are lacking construction.
By that I mean you need to build up your figures and things from basic forms. I think you were onto something with that walker mech thing. So applying the same approach of perspective and solid forms.

You're paintings are improving with your studies, I can see that if you can improve the drawing the painting will improve greatly.

Feel free to send me a message if you have any questions or need more advice.

            thanks for messaging me.

so here's an example of what I mean. Although I should have made some perspective lines to get things placed better.

Nice dude, you reminded me what I need to study more. Check out http://hel-looks.com/ for good fashion reference. I found out about it yesterday.

ok here's an idea for the werewolf. Giving a more animal like pose. Don't take my drawing as an example of proper perspective and anatomy though, since it's pretty wack.

Maybe try dropping the opacity of one of the silhouettes, your favourite one and do a little linework or value on it for some extra practice.

For the mantis you can get a clean edge by doing a base fill. So paint in a solid colour with a hard edge and completely fill the silhouette of the insect. Then you can paint into the silhouette by ctrl-clicking the layer thumbnail in the layers palette. Alternatively you can create a mask from the selecting so you don't have to keep clicking the layer thumbnail. This will give you a cleaner edge and make an easy way to keep everything contained.

When you have uploaded the image with attachment manager, there is a little black paperclip on a green square at the top of your posting dialog box. Click that and a pulldown will happen with all your image files for selection. Selecting an image will place that image (at full size) where your cursor is in the dialog box.

Hey there nice start. I like you avatar. As point for improvement: Think more about overlapping. The mantis has a lot of overlapping parts, which makes it look more real and creates depth. Compare it to the werewolf, he barely has anything that pushes over another body part.
