My Jam is based on an old mexican legend we know as "La Llorona" (Could be translated to...the Weeping? something like that). Legend says a woman went crazy one night and killed all of her children and then killed herself. Because of this, she is cursed to walk the streets of Mexico City, lamenting and crying out for her children. I took this legend and gave it a twist: When this lady killed herself, she made a deal with the devil so that she could find her children again. So each Halloween night, she returns as a demon, looking for her long lost children, and taking any child as her own into the depths of hell.

I had a lot of fun doing this, it's been an incredible experience and can't wait to participate in the next one. Thanks to all who helped me with this, without ur comments and kind words I could've finished this

This is my first time on a Drawing Jam, so I'm a bit excited

Here is my entry. this piece is one of the my most favorite subjects to do. one thing that really gives me the creeps are those old family portraits from the 50's or something like that.

as my first drawing jam, i enjoyed it very much. and seeing other people's work made me nothing short of inspired.
