Finals thread posting tutorial

Please read through the following information carefully, if your image does not meet these criteria it may not be included in the poll.

Image size: A maximum of 1000px Wide or 1000px tall is a good size for your image, this for most people will mean they do not have to scroll a lot to see your image. While you will not be disqualified for having a slightly larger image, pictures that people have to scroll a lot to see tend to do worse in the poll.

Close-ups: If your image is highly detailed it is acceptable to include up to 2 close up shots which should be no larger than 300x300pixels wide.

Thumbnail: Your poll thumbnail image should be made from one of the templates provided. It should be 200x200 pixels, have your name in a clear font and have a black boarder. There is both a jpeg and psd for your use attached to the first post of each finals thread. You can also get these at the bottom of this thread.

Any entries with thumbnail that do not match the template will not be included in the poll.

Adding images: Here is a walk through of how to add images to your post using the cghub attachment manager. You may use photo bucket or image shack but to avoid any broken links we prefer you use the cghub attachment manager.

If you make a mistake in your post you can edit it there is an edit button at the bottom of your post which you can click and press 'go advance' to get to the main editing page. Here you can click the green paper clip at the top of the edit box and manage attachments if you need to change your images.

I don't seem to have the type used for the thumbnail template.
My photoshop subbed it for another type. Will or will that not prevent me from being in the poll?

You can choose whatever type font you want But do try to keep it clear and readable

A Finals thread will be posted for each round a few days before the deadline. That is where you post your final image and poll thumbnail.
