Geocat~ looking sweet! I can see the power it contains.

Shadowplay~ Make sure you take into account the scale of the beast. when modeling use a human model to gauge the size amd scale it up to a nice gargantuan beasty!

Johnchen~ I like your direction, same comment about scale but in reverse, a smal creature like this will have incredible fine detailed cybernetics works into its muscles, veins, etc. better to model in a larger scale (human size) then scale it down once the detail is finished. Even place a humanoid victim or the controller in the frame to accent the scale.

Shadowplay, that's a really nice concept there!

Ok I'm in. I'm gonna do the Opee see killer - I looked at all the creatures possible and kept coming back to this one so this is it:

Haven't participated in a 3D challenge in a long time. This one peaks my interest.

I think I'm going to create a "Terentatek", the only version of it I can find is of a dated model from "Knights of the Old Republic", so some reinterpretation is in order.

"Terentatek resembled rancors, except they had a number of spines growing from their backs and a pair of flaps, or tusk-like projections attached to their mouths. They also had massive claws (four to a hand). The tusks and claws of a terentatek were highly venomous. It was theorized that they were once rancors, subjected to mutations by the Sith. When the dark side was weak in the galaxy, terentateks could hibernate and remain dormant for many years, only to return when the dark side was strong again. " -wookieepedia
