    Default best animation software


    Hi, i'm a beginning 3D hobbyist
    until now i used Blender
    but i wanna get more serious with animating
    so what would be the best software for animating?

      There's really no best animating software it depends on preferences.Many people prefer maya but i like 3ds max because you can work with quads and triangles and n-gons. Also I think you mean character creation (poly modeling).

      3ds max and maya - You can create characters and do simple animations .


      Motionbuilder- When you create characters in 3ds max and/or Maya you can bring them into motionbuilder and you can do advanced animations.

      Zbrush- I also recommend you learn Zbrush a very good sculpting programs you can bring stuff in from 3ds max or maya and detail them to look more realistic. Zbrush also made many sculpting programs like Mudbox a lot easier to learn.
