really inspiring to see more folks joining in

metwins - great start. Watch those corners of the eyes The skin wraps around the eyeball and doesn't leave big holes in the inner corners Also, your image looks like you're not using perspective while sculpting It's very risky, as you might end up with a rather fishy looking face Keep going though, it's coming along nicely

thebest - great start though I'm having trouble pinpointing what sort of an expression you're going for Is he surprised, scared or angry?

Islipe3d - nice to see you're going for a full body I'd try to do the collar of the jacket either modeled in completely in an outside 3d package like maya or whatever you're using rather than sculpt it on You could also just use z-spheres and quickly mock one up over the current jacket geometry. It would look much more natural... The sleeves look rather short too

        Keep going folks

Well I did a quick render test with zbrush. And I think I will try to make this work with zbrush alone. I wonder how it will work...

it's looking great arek One thing I'd look at are the eyes - he seems to be looking in opposite directions with his eyeballs at the moment It's hard to tell with this 3/4 view but the nose looks rather wide too ... I look forward to more - it's coming along wonderfully

Your right Intervain, I will fix that along with face expression which for now is rather generic :/

              nice work folks,

thebest : i agree with intervain about the use of perspective. apart from that, i think the left eye lid has gone out of touch from the eyeball, its too far.. there should not be any gap and the eye lid shud wrap around the eye. also you have lifted the left nostril a bit up, but while doing that try to shift the tip of the nose a bit towards left too to give it actualy luk. and there is a perfectly straight horizontal line where the upper and the lower teeth meet, i think you can use some variation and also you'll have to keep them a bit opened so that he can hold the pipe. I'm not really sure about the cap, but waiting for more updates. keep em coming !

Thanks for the critiques but I think you were confused between two entries Intervain told metwins about that I do use Perspective while sculpting but for the other crits I think you are absolutely right

                great stuff guys

jorgepepelife - I'd suggest looking at the coat again - the stitch around the collar makes it look rather cheap and unfinished Sherlock would wear a nice tailored coat for sure

Not sure how many image I can post as a wip but I really wanted to take your opinion about this I updated my model as sanketpro3d suggested still not sure about the hat , different design ? remove it ? remodel it ?
