posed the zspheres and sculp it on the fly...
a bit regret because there is no symmetry ... kind of twice work to do but will keep trying

wongedan - cool stuff - well without symmetry you'll be more challenged though so it's a good exercise

maxloegler - I'm sure you can find some good refs online

As for sculpting cloth there's quite a few tuts out there - this one's worth taking a look at, though it's not free. Here's a free one with some brushes you might like too.

Remember we have to know it is a detective just by looking at the character.

GeoCat - it can be a man, a woman - whatever you want... just give it some character and make us see it is a detective

arek: Poirot is by far the most interesting one, but u nailed them all.

A little update on the gloves and some minor changes on the lighting. thought cloth was a bit easier.

Thanks a lot for all the feedback. That's true Poirot is really interesting and his top of my list atm. Yesterday I went for Monk and was pumped up for Starsky and Hutch, but I failed so bad :/ I think I will start over and try to get them again because they seem to have really interesting face expression.
