Drifter takes place in an unspecified future where natural resources are incredibly scarce and the United States is the last bastion of civilization. Military and law enforcement are all but absent in most of the US, save for the borders where they are employed to prevent massive immigration. Hope for the rest of humanity lies in America's gamble on the first terraforming mission.

Consequently, the absence of an adequate police force has turned America into a rather lawless, corrupt nation that has grown fat, lazy, and desensitized due to the overabundance of resources and mass media.

It's a tribute to all the genres I've been interested in while growing up: western, sci-fi, cyberpunk, samurai films, etc. The plot is a definite nod to A Fistful of Dollars.

Glad that you enjoy it. I added 2 more images and hope to have the rest done, printed, and bound soon!
