The legend of Kappa as a scary monster is not always true.
In this myth of 'Boy and Kappa', our hero 'Boy' was rescued by 'Kappa' as an infant when his tousan's fishing boat sunk during a storm.

Raised by 'Kappa', 'Boy' grows up to be courageous and adventurous . People from the mainland often speak of a seaboy who rescues sailors & fishermen in danger.

CONGRATS to JohnChen for winning this months challenge!!!
I'd like to thank all the participants that partook but didn't get to finish as well. Please feel free to finish them at you rown pace and post them in the forum. There are some really cool ideas that I think shouldn;t go unfinished!

I'll probably finish it later. I really like my idea especially the part i didn't start ( the vessel)

Hi All,

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I thought I would share some new renders of Boy & Kappa. Had a chance to revisit the lighting so here are some stills from a turntable animation with some touch up in Photoshop.
