Default evan norman - There is no Plan B

Shit. I don't know what to write about.

I have been doing art for a little over 2 years now and I have been going to school for art for 1 year. I am about to enter into my third semester at TAD where I am studying Entertainment 2D. I just finished foundations and I cannot wait to be diving head first into my major.

Before I ever knew I wanted to be an artist, I wanted to be a Doctor. I was PreMed in college and I graduated with a BS in Biology. Instead of going to Med school, I took a huge turn and went to art school.

As I said before, I am still fairly new at this and I am dabbling in everything: Oils, Digital, Charcoal, Acrylics, Graphite and Inks. Here are a couple of the pieces.

I will be posting more as it comes. Thanks for looking.

ps. I would love some crits.

A few of my better figures from tonight's 2 hour session. Each of these drawings are 5-10 minutes.

Thanks for looking. I got an assignment last night to do a zombie character concept for a mobile game. I should have the WIP's showing up over the next few days

MetalFingers: hey Alex. Good to see you here. I will have to find your SB somewhere in here.

ScalC: Thanks for the welcoming and the compliment. I am still doing lots of foundations but soon I should have a bunch of concept stuff soon.

A WIP for my industrial design class. 'Rough out 5 weapons for Kratos'

First oil painting of the semester. From a Jon Foster Sculpture.

a 5 minute drawing from life.

My first orthograph. I still have quite a bit of tweaking to do.

                    thanks for looking.

A weapon design I am doing for a school assignment where I got to redesign a new weapon for Kratos, from God of War. The drawing of Kratos is not mine, I'm just painting over it for size.

After the first sitting. I am taking it in a new direction and this is where it is right now

This is my Final for my Kratos weapon assignment.

I learned a ton from this piece. It was a huge struggle but well worth it.

Once again, in the 2nd image was just grabbed from the internet and I think it is an in game render.
