I like the 1st best. Some of the small details help make the character

Alataille: I'm trying to change up my style and approach to these depending on what seems the best visual language for each individual image. The 1st was more about defining a character. As you said, some of the small details help to define the character. While the second, on the other hand, was more about just a silly little illustration idea I had in my head. On that one I decided to go a bit more whimsical and hint at the details without painting each and every one, as I did not feel they were neccesary for the storytelling, and might distract from the main idea if I went crazy with them.
