New Worlds #24- Intergalactic Fair ground

Were going to get out of the dark and gloomy and go for something a little more fun! Intergalactic Fair ground, every 100 earth years there is a gathering from all corners of the known galaxy at one planet to create the biggest and most diverse fair known across the galaxy, your task is to show us this fairground.
Arttorney's edit: I'm adding another day to this so you can use the full holiday weekend to work on it.

Just a sketch so far, I'm still looking into ways to add to the intergalacticness(?) of it, so I assume there will be some landing ships in the background, and maybe some flying traffic above. I'm not happy with it compositionally, so a crop is inevitable. Any critique would be awesome.

Edit: Not sure how to post a full size image in the body of the post, if any wants to tell me what I'm doing wrong that would be nice.

Basically that black paperclip on a green square icon in your posting menu is a pull down that lets you place the full size images where your cursor is.

Still pretty sketchy, and STILL doesn't have enough "intergalactic" elements. Ill get all futuristic when I refine things. The buildings in the background look too average, that's for sure. More to come...

Possibly the final revision. Hit me with some critiques, please tell me what I can change! Compositional direction would help a lot.

Next time I'm definitely going to start with some thumbnails, I've struggled with additions ruining composition, and I went in with some details before I finished adding major subjects..

The arrangement of the elements looks OK to me. The painting is just loose. Are you sure you are done?

Well, by no means is it "finished". I'm just worried that if I detail too much in one area, and can't finish the rest, then I'll be left with a painting that doesn't look loose, but just looks unfinished (Not that it doesn't now).

Either way, you are right, and I have continued refining, I just hope I can refine the whole piece by midnight.

IM going to extend this till tomorrow afternoon at 12pm CST because it being the fourth some people may not have had a chance to finish up but no further extension
