great gingerrichd - I laughed after reading your description - yeah there is sth pervy in the smile. One thing that jumped out at me was the lower lip, there's very little tension happening there. When we smile the lower lip really stretches thin around the teeth. Also the corners of the mouth could move outward a bit more, so you have a wider gap between them and the teeth [with a wide smile they're almost reach the level of the outer corners of the eyes, so it's quite a shift]. Keep it coming

That's a very nice character I especially like that blank expression on the right. The smile makes me kinda think she's just eaten a lemon because her nose reacts to the expression but the cheeks haven't moved up too much. I would like to see the area around the eyes affected a bit more - she's a child so she won't have a lot of wrinkles but the lower eyelid would be very pronounced like here: http://www.istockphoto.com/stock-pho...ers-wreath.php

                Nice work!

Coincidentially, I sketched some expressions last weekend - I've never posted anything on the cghub forums before and I'm not sure whether this thread is for properly polished and finished work only, but I'll post then here anyway - Maybe they can inspire someone else to join in!
