Now I think about 3 models which are suitable for the price:

Wacom Bamboo Fun Medium A5 (CTE-650/W-RU)

For tablets I always go with wacom. I´ll choose the Wacom Bamboo Fun Medium A5 (CTE-650/W-RU)

        Default Wacom Tablets

I have the Wacom Bamboo Pen & Touch and a Wacom Intuos4 Medium PTK-640.

I use the Bamboo when I have to work away from home but my choice is definitely The Intuos 4 which, I feel is much more responsive. I can't find specs on the Bamboo but I can for the Intuos 4 and I can only say that the Intuos 4 feels much more refined and sensitive.

If you can afford an Intuos tablet then go for it.

I would say go with the basic Wacom Bamboo Pen. You are going to be limited by software/your knowledge. If you really like digital workflow, buy a professional one next year.

I am working with Bamboo Pen and it simply does the job. I am looking forward to get the Intuos 4, but the difficulties I are caused by the lack software/rendering knowledge.

I have had a Bamboo pen and touch for a few years and it's been a really good tablet so I'd say definitely stick with Wacom.

Im getting an Intuos next week

              Default Check around!

Before I bought mine, I kept going to Fry's and was drooling over the Intuos4 at the time, but it came with a heavy price tag $400 at that store, which was the only place to get it around here. My wife found a new Intuos4 Med on Amazon.com for $199 and bought it that day while I was at work. Its worth looking around... I wouldnt go with anything other than Wacom. They pretty much set the standard as far as Graphic Tablets go.

So I am guessing that I made the right move by buying a bamboo splash?
