Your sketch is looking better because it has a lot of strenght, that you have lost in the coloring process, like overdetailling and changing things like statues was not the good choice to be made in my opinion. Having a fresh Eye, I can confirm that colored roughly sketch above is by far more powerfull. Face and bot are also good. I love the way your sketchs are so brutal. I know also that refining too much is sometimes a real P.I.A.

Thanks Kherns, couldn't agree with you more translating sketches into finished pieces has always been really tough for me
